Nepal, Feb. 1 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Sunday plunged 19.85 points over a selling pressure, to close at 2,694.20 points.
Only the trading group gained 20.92 points. Of the 12 losers, hotels and tourism plunged by the largest of 132.30 points.
The sensitive index which measures the performance of 'A' class companies decreased 2.76 points. The daily turnover declined to Rs 9.10 billion from Rs 14.56 billion.
Among the individual companies, 50 were gainers while 201 were recorded as losers. Ankhu Khola Jalvidhyut Company had the largest turnover of its shares worth Rs 555.24 million.
