Nepal, June 24 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Tuesday remained almost stable with a very nominal decline in its index by 0.22 points as the market closed at 2,600.53 points.
The secondary market opened at 2,600.76 points and soared to the day's high at 2,629.27 points within the first half an hour. However, the market index suffered downhill for almost the entire remaining trading time before it closed for the day.

Five out of the 13 groups were the gainers, as the manufacturing and processing group added the largest of 29.57 points in its index. Of the losers, hotels and tourism index shed the highest of 66.99 points.
