Nepal, June 3 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Tuesday plunged by 35.73 points to close at 2,658.93 points.

The secondary market opened at 2,695.84 points and inched up around four points in the first one minute. The index went to a gradual decline in the remaining trading hours while it hit the day's low at 2,657.4 points in the last two minutes before the market closed for the day.

All the 13 groups were losers. Hotels and tourism index declined 147.44 points, followed by life insurance and non-life insurance with 98.87 points and 85.09 points respectively.
