Nepal, Oct. 28 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Tuesday surged by a whopping 62.29 points to close at 2,571.34 points.
The secondary market opened at 2,509.04 points and declined initially to the day's low at 2,505.55 points in the first one minute. The index then inclined gradually in the remaining period, ensuring a 2.48 percent rise overall.
It was the second-day successive rise in the market index. On Sunday, the market gained 5.19 points, while the market remained closed due to the public holiday of Chhath.
