Nepal, July 1 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Tuesday gained 31.44 points to close at 2,662.92 points.

The secondary market opened at 2,631.48 points and gradually inclined up throughout the trading hours. Overall, the market grew by 1.19 percent in the intraday trading.

Only manufacturing and processing registered as loser, with a decline of 11.40 points in its index. Out of 12 gainers, life insurance gained the largest of 149.67 points, followed by microfinance (114.26 points) and non-life insurance (101.55 points).

The sensitive index, which measures the performance of 'A' class companies, inclined up an impressive 6.49 points. The daily turnover a...
