Nepal, May 14 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Wednesday lost 13.96 points to close at 2,620.27 points.
The secondary market opened at 2,634.23 points and gradually increased to reach the day's high at 2,642.79 points in the first two and a half hours. The market however plunged downhill and lost around 14 points in the remaining period before it closed for the day.

Only two groups--development banks and 'others' gained 65.05 points and 55.12 points, respectively. Of the 11 losers, non-life insurance shed 174.83 points, the highest of all.
