Nepal, Jan. 10 -- Coordinator of Nepali Communist Party (NCP),erstwhile Maoist Center, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, has announced that he will contest the March 5 House of Representatives election from Rukum East.

Speaking at a party unity message rally in Rukum West, Dahal confirmed his candidacy. He said, "I will contest the election from Rukum, specifically Rukum East. While I am choosing East Rukum, I understand that I will also engage with the people of West Rukum."

He emphasized his commitment to fulfilling the trust of the people of West Rukum, pledging to advance development projects with renewed energy and remain connected to the joys and struggles of Rukum's residents.
