KATHMANDU, Feb. 6 -- Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has accused the government of bringing the ordinance to support vested-interest groups.
Addressing the meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) on Thursday, Dahal accused the government of hastily introducing the ordinance to serve the interests of the vested interest groups. "Barely six days before the commencement of the winter session, five ordinances were introduced to amend dozens of Acts. Over the last 35 years, Nepali Congress has held the position of Prime Minister 12 times, and the UML has held it 7 times," he said.
