KATHMANDU, March 9 -- Chairman of the ruling CPN-UML KP Sharma Oli has said that the current UML-CPN (Maoist Center) alliance will continue for the next four years even as power centers are active to break it.

Addressing the party's Secretariat meeting held at the party's head office in Chyasal, Lalitpur on Friday, Chairman Oli argued that the current alliance must be maintained for four years at any cost.

He mentioned that it was not possible to consult the party before forging political alliance with the Maoist Center due to the complicated situation. "But the success we achieved is great," a party official quoted Oli as saying in the briefing.
