Nepal, May 26 -- The CPN-UML has assigned various responsibilities to its leaders to ensure the success of the massive public demonstration scheduled for May 29.

In a meeting held this morning at the party's central office in Chyasal, leaders were informed about the list of responsibilities allocated to mobilize their efforts.

According to General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, the public demonstration is being prepared to commemorate Republic Day in a way that the general public will remember and to dispel the misconceptions spread by royalists.
