Nepal, Aug. 14 -- The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a chargesheet against Chief of the Land Revenue Office, Bhaktapur, Kumar Acharya in the Special Court, Kathmandu, on Tuesday on charges of corruption.

Office Assistant Tikaram Raut has also been named in the chargesheet as one of the accused. A team from the CIAA head office in Tangal has taken control of the duo while taking a bribe of Rs. 2.45 million for developing a land ownership certificate in the name of the tenant of the 14.4 ropani of land in Changunarayan Municipality, Bhaktapur, shared Commission spokesperson Rajendra Kumar Poudel.
