Nepal, May 30 -- Conflict victims have appealed to President Ram Chandra Paudel to play the role of a guardian in addressing their prolonged suffering.

A delegation of conflict victims submitted a memorandum to President Paudel on Friday, expressing their frustration over the lack of meaningful progress in transitional justice.

The memorandum states that while political activists have been accommodated in the post-conflict era, the condition of victims has deteriorated as the state has failed to make proper arrangements for them.
