Nepal, Feb. 3 -- The compensation amount for altogether 10 households affected by the under-construction Tanahun Hydropower Project has been determined.

A meeting of the compensation determination committee presided over by the Chief District Officer decided to dole out compensation to the households affected by the project site at Lokpa, Dharapani, Dhoklak, Bulsalt and Jhaputar in Rishing Municipality, Tanahun.

Likewise, the community members would be compensated for the loss of their agricultural properties and other damages caused by the construction of the transmission line and other infrastructures.
