KATHMANDU, March 4 -- After Surendra Pandey, vice chairman of the CPN-UML, said on social media that the government will change today, it has become clear that the current ruling coalition government has collapsed.

After Pandey said that the government will be changed and a new Cabinet will also be formed today, the parties including the Nepali Congress are holding separate discussions.

The Nepali Congress has called an office-bearers' meeting while the CPN-UML also called a secretariat meeting in the morning. The UML secretariat meeting also concluded that it is ready to move forward in a new way if the current alliance is dissolved.
