Nepal, May 7 -- The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM) has said that most parts of the country will likely experience clear weather today. Westerly and local winds, along with moisture-laden air entering from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea, are currently influencing the weather system.
According to the DHM, this afternoon, clouds will partially cover the hilly regions, while skies over the rest of the country will remain mostly clear. Thunderclouds and lightning may bring light to moderate rain in some hilly areas, including Koshi and Sudurpaschim provinces, and in isolated spots across other provinces. Some mountainous areas may also see light rainfall and snowfall.
