Nepal, June 11 -- The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a corruption case against former Chief Administrative Officer of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Pradeep Pariyar, and six other municipal employees.
The CIAA lodged the case at the Special Court on Wednesday, accusing the officials of misusing authority in awarding a road construction contract. Each individual has been charged with causing a loss of Rs 43.17 million to the state.
