Nepal, May 19 -- A new corruption case has been filed against Sunil Paudel, the former executive director of the National Information Technology Center (NITC) on Monday.

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a corruption case against former Executive Director Sunil Paudel, former Assistant Director Ramesh Pokharel, and three others. The case demands the recovery of approximately Rs 57.9 million in losses. According to the CIAA's findings, during Paudel's tenure, irregularities were found in the procurement of equipment at the NITC.
