CIAA files case in Special Court against several individuals on charges of corruption related to irrigation projects
KATHMANDU, March 5 -- The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) filed a case in the Special Court on Monday against several individuals including the former head of the District Technical Office, Mugu, on charges of corruption related to irrigation projects.
According to the CIAA, corruption was uncovered in the Tandwada Chhada irrigation project situated in Soru Rural Municipality-9, involving illicit gains and losses.
The CIAA has filed a claim for compensation of Rs 2.68 million against Devi Prasad Pandey, the former head of the District Technical Office, Mugu.
