KATHMANDU, Feb. 4 -- A case has been registered at the Chitwan District Court today against former Home Minister and Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Rabi Lamichhane, including 15 others in the Sahara Chitwan Multipurpose Cooperative Limited fraud case.

The District Government Attorney's Office (DGAO) in Chitwan said that although preparations were made to register the case on Monday, it was only registered on Tuesday because all preparations were not completed.

The DGAO has registered a case against Lamichhane, 15 other individuals, and six organizations on charges of embezzling funds from the cooperative and defrauding them.
