Nepal, May 19 -- The car driven by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Khagendra Khadka from the District Police Office, Jhapa, collided with a vehicle carrying Koshi Province lawmakers in Kanepokhari, Morang, on Monday.

The vehicle was carrying provincial assembly members Namberlal Dhimal, Radhakrishna Khanal, Maiya Shrestha, and Bidya Chamling.

The lawmakers' vehicle collided head-on with the oncoming car (Ba 5 Cha 3520). According to the Area Police Office, Pathari, the lawmakers escaped without serious injuries.
