KATHMANDU, March 19 -- Captain and skipper of Nepali national cricket team Paras Khadka has been conferred with the title of Youth Icon 2019.

He was honored with the title along with a cash prize of Rs 100,000 amidst a special program Kathmandu Youth Conclave 2019 held in the capital on Tuesday. Khadka was felicitated for his contribution to Nepali sports and for inspiring youths to believe that one can be in Nepal and succeed.

The program featured remarks by successful persons in different fields to guide student careers.
