Nepal, May 13 -- The BP Highway, which had been blocked since last night due to continuous rainfall, has now fully resumed operation.

The diversion at Mapti was eroded by the flooded river, resulting in a complete halt in vehicular movement, according to the District Police Office, Sinduli. The washed-away diversion has now been repaired and the river has been diverted.

With efforts from the police team and local residents, the road was reopened for one-way traffic starting early Tuesday morning.
