UK, May 3 -- London Metropolitan Police have confirmed that the body found near the Thames River close to Waterloo in London belonged to a Nepali student.
Police identified the body as 20-year-old Sushan Oli from Musikot Municipality-12 in Rukum West after conducting a fingerprint test, according to Bipin Duwadi, spokesperson and Deputy Head of Mission at the Nepali Embassy.
The police discovered the body last Tuesday and initially suspected that it belonged to a Nepali student. After conducting the fingerprint test, they confirmed the identity as that of a Nepali student. Duwadi, quoting the London police, reported that the fingerprint matched those obtained from the Department of Passport in Nepal.
