Nepal, April 10 -- The famous Biska (Bisket) Jatra of Bhaktapur, known for its cultural and historical importance, has officially begun. With the start of this festival, Bhaktapur will be immersed in celebrations for eight nights and nine days.
The Jatra began this evening in Taumadhi by tugging the Bhail Kha - the chariot of Bhairavnath - from the front of the Nyatapol (five-storey) temple.
