Nepal, May 27 -- The Sirsiya-based Birgunj Dry Port Customs Office has collected revenue amounting to Rs 41.18 billion in the first ten months of the current Fiscal Year (FY) 2024/25. This represents 68.58 percent of the office's annual revenue target.

Chief Customs Officer Dhan Bahadur Baruwal stated that revenue collection during this period increased by Rs 1.14 billion compared to the same period last FY. "In the first ten months of the previous FY, revenue collection stood at Rs 40.03 billion," he said, "Compared to last year, there has been an overall increase of 2.85 percent in revenue collection this year."
