KATHMANDU, March 9 -- Laxmi Group Nepal with joint contribution of Hyundai Motor, South Korea has constructed an elevator on the premises of Bindhyabasini Temple, Pokhara to ease mobility to elderly and physically-impaired visitors.
The elevator was inaugurated by President Bidya Bhandari on Thursday.
The chairman of Bindhyabasini Development Committee and Laxmi Group Ganesh Bahadur Shrestha gave a welcome speech at the inauguration ceremony.
After formation of the committee, it has constructed Radhakrishna Temple, Shanti Niwas, Gurukul Bhawan, Temple of Ashta Chiranjivi and Navagraha Temple, Yagyamandap, Aakhanda Hawan Mandap and Bindhyabasini Bahuudhesya Bhawan among other infrastructure on the premises.
