KATHMANDU, Jan. 29 -- A bill to remove the existing 30-year service period limit for officers of the Nepal Police and Armed Police Force (APF) has reached the Parliament Secretariat for registration.

The bill to amend and unify the laws related to the Nepal Police and Armed Police Force, which reached parliament on Tuesday, proposes to change the retirement age of police constables to Inspector General of Police (IGP). In addition, the marks given by the promotion committee to police officers are also going to be changed.
