Nepal, April 30 -- Bikash Hydropower Company has received approval from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) to issue its initial public offering (IPO).
According to SEBON, the board granted permission to the hydropower company on Tuesday to float 9,091,000 units of ordinary shares. The total value of the IPO amounts to Rs 909.1 million.

Prabhu Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue and sales manager for the IPO.
Once launched, the public offering will allow investors to purchase shares in the hydropower company, which seeks to raise capital for its ongoing and upcoming energy projects.
