Nepal, Sept. 30 -- The District Police Office in Bhaktapur has announced a strict security plan targeting Dashain and other upcoming festivals. As part of the plan, police have deployed 27 Quick Response Teams (QRTs) to ensure safety during Dashain, Tihar, and Chhath.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Dhundiraj Regmi of the Bhaktapur Police stated that special teams have been mobilized to patrol major marketplaces, intersections, sensitive areas, religious sites, banks, and financial institutions. He said the teams are prepared to reach the scene within 10 minutes of receiving any incident report.
