KATHMANDU, March 14 -- The temperature has gradually started rising in various districts of the country as the winter season ends, particularly in the Terai region of Nepal.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), there has been an increase in the temperature in the districts of Central and Eastern Terai. This week, Bhairahawa, in particular, recorded the highest temperature.

On Wednesday, Bhairahawa recorded a temperature of 34.5 degrees Celsius, marking the highest temperature since February. Sanjiv Adhikari, a meteorologist of the MFD, said that this is the highest temperature since February.
