Nepal, Feb. 16 -- Ballot printing for the House of Representatives elections scheduled for March 5 has entered its final stage. Janak Education Materials Centre Limited (JEMC) has completed printing the remaining five lakh ballots today.
Executive Managing Director Yadu Nath Paudel said the pending ballots for Bagmati Province would be printed by this evening.
"Printing for the direct elections has reached its final stage. Out of a total of 20.3 million direct ballots, only five lakh remained, which we will complete today. We began with a 42-day schedule, and we are finishing in just 40 days," he added.
He noted that after printing concludes today, all ballots will be packed and dispatched to the remaining districts by tomorrow.
