KATHMANDU, Jan. 11 -- As many as 61 domestic flights were canceled yesterday due to bad weather. Teknath Sitaula, spokesperson for the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), informed Republica that all flights have been canceled due to bad weather.

According to Spokesperson Sitaula, flights scheduled from the TIA were to be conducted by 18 aircraft. He added, "Out of 119 flights scheduled for Tuesday, 61 flights were canceled due to bad weather. Today, there are only 58 domestic flights from the TIA."
