Nepal, May 19 -- Sharmeen S. Murshid, adviser to Bangladesh's Ministry of Social Welfare and Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, spoke about the connection between ecosystems and the importance of working together at the first Sagarmatha Sambaad dialogue forum in Kathmandu.
During the plenary session on "Climate Change, Mountains and the Future of Humanity," Murshid said, "We are one ecosystem, from summit to sea. What happens to the mountain happens to the village, happens to the city, happens to us all."
