Nepal, Aug. 14 -- The Ashok Rai-led Janata Samajwadi Party and the Rajendra Mahato-led Rastriya Mukti Party (RMP) Nepal are set to forge a working alliance on Thursday.

The announcement of the alliance is scheduled for 2 PM in Kathmandu. The collaboration aims to strengthen their struggle on issues related to political identity.
The JSP was formed after splitting from the Upendra Yadav-led SP Nepal, while the RMP was created after separating from the Mahanta Thakur-led Loktantrik Samajwadi Party.
