KATHMANDU, Sept. 12 -- The Nepali Army has reported that 97 guns that were looted from various police outposts in the course of Gen Z protests have been recovered as of Thursday evening.

Four prisoners, who escaped from the central prison, Sundhara and three juvenile detainees, who fled from the Child Correction Home in Silgadhi, Doti, in the course of the protest, have also been apprehended, NA's Public Relations and Information Directorate said.

Similarly, 39 inmates who escaped from the Gajuri prison of Dhading and 16 juvenile detainees missing from the Child Correction Home in Daduwa, Banke, were taken back into custody by the army.
