KATHMANDU, Nov. 16 -- The application submitted for the registration of the Rastriya Gen Z Party has been withdrawn, according to the Election Commission (EC).

The EC stated that the withdrawal request was filed after it was found that Hira Sethi, who had been listed as the party's chairperson in the application, is currently a member of the central committee of the Ujyaalo Nepal Party.
