Nepal, June 11 -- The Armed Police Force (APF) on Tuesday rescued four paragliders who crashed into Phewa Lake during landing in Pokhara.

According to APF Deputy Spokesperson Shailendra Thapa, two paraglider pilots along with two tandem divers took off from Torepani in Pokhara Metropolitan City-18, Kaski, but lost control while landing and plunged into the middle of the lake.

Thapa said a rescue team from APF No. 24 Kalika Battalion, stationed at the Phewa Rescue Tower, responded immediately and rescued all four individuals safely at around 3 PM.
