KATHMANDU, March 9 -- Forward Anjan Bista of the Nepali national team has signed a contract with Fortis FC of Bangladesh. He will now play in Bangladesh's top tier football league, Bangladesh Premier League.

Bista, who jointly scored the most 13 goals for Nepal, has been contracted by Fortis, according to the local media, Daily Star.

The manager of the club, Rashedul Islam, confirmed the signing of Anjan and said that his arrival will be beneficial for the club.

"Bista is an experienced player of the Nepali national team. He also scored a hat-trick against Bangladesh. We believe he can take us forward," Rashidul said about Bisht's onboarding.
