Nepal, June 5 -- Marriott India and Nepal marked Environment Day by planting 100,000 trees across over 150 hotels in the region. As part of this initiative, Aloft Kathmandu Thamel contributed by planting over 700 trees and organizing a staff-led clean-up hike along the Tarebhir trail. This dual effort underscores Marriott's commitment to sustainability and ecological restoration, Aloft Kathmandu said in a press release.

The Tarebhir initiative involved more than 40 associates who hiked the trail, collecting plastic waste and other litter along the way. According to the press release, this initiative combined wellness, community spirit, and environmental action, reinforcing Aloft ethos of purposeful living.
