Nepal, Nov. 4 -- Agricultural produce worth Rs 3.367 billion was exported in the first quarter of the current Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/26 through the Plant Quarantine and Pesticide Management Centre Quarantine Office, Kakarbhitta.

According to the Office's information officer, Chandreshwar Thakur, the major export items include cardamom, tea, plywood and veneer, ginger, broom grass, and others.

During this period, the highest exports were cardamom worth Rs 1.51 billion, tea worth Rs 756.6 million, plywood worth Rs 277.4 million, veneer worth Rs 272.8 million, and Amliso (broom grass) worth Rs 195.9 million.
