Nepal, April 25 -- The protesting teachers have reached the ministry for talks after being called by newly appointed Minister for Education, Science, and Technology, Raghuji Pant.

According to Ram Prasad Dhakal, Deputy General Secretary of the Nepal Teachers' Federation (NTA), a 25-member team has gone for the meeting. Officials from the Nepal National Teachers Association (NNTA), Nepal University Progressive Teachers Association and NTA have reached the ministry.

Deputy General Secretary Dhakal stated, "We have taken the new minister's call positively." He also mentioned that on the occasion, the teachers plan to extend their best wishes to Minister Pant.
