Nepal, Feb. 10 -- Police arrested Khagendra Sunar, coordinator of the Dalit Campaign for Dalits on Monday for demanding the resignation of Minister for Home Affairs Ramesh Lekhak.

Rem Rasaili, a member of the campaign said that Sunar was arrested in front of the Parliament building in Baneshwar. He had participated in the protest demanding the resignation of Minister Lekhak.

Sunar had been protesting for the past five days against the government's passive atrocities against inter-caste married couple Satyendra Ram (Chamar) and Neha Rauniyar from Sarlahi.
