KATHMANDU, Nov. 22 -- 293 Nepalis residing abroad have lost their lives due to the coronavirus

As much as 91 percent of Non-resident Nepalis (NRNs) have recovered from COVID-19 as of Saturday.

According to the Health Committee of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), 42,803 of the total 46,578 NRNs who contracted COVID-19 have recovered as of Saturday.

Similarly, 293 NRNs living in 19 countries have lost their lives due to the coronavirus, according to the NRNA's Health Committee.

Eighty-four NRNs in Saudi Arabia, 69 in the UK and 40 in India have succumbed to COVID-19 so far.
