Nepal, April 13 -- In the past year, 745 people have lost their lives due to disaster-related incidents in Nepal. According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA), a total of 8,861 disaster events were recorded during this period.
NDRRMA Spokesperson Ram Bahadur KC stated that 69 individuals remain missing and 1,702 were injured in these incidents. He added that 18,991 households were affected by various disasters over the year.
The total estimated economic loss caused by these disasters amounts to Rs 3.13 billion.In the past year, various disaster incidents in Nepal caused significant human casualties. Landslides led to the highest number of fatalities, with 351 people losing their lives. Floods follo...
