Nepal, Sept. 23 -- At least 51 Nepali migrant workers lost their lives in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) over the past two months, according to data from the Embassy of Nepal in Abu Dhabi.
The deaths were recorded in the first two months of the current Fiscal Year (FY) 2082/83, with 32 deaths reported in Shrawan (mid-July to mid-August) and 19 in Bhadra (mid-August to mid-September). Causes of death include road accidents, workplace incidents, heart attacks, and other cardiovascular-related illnesses, the embassy said.
