KATHMANDU, July 19 -- Two activists by the name Sean and Mary Hotung started a campaign with the help of Nepali businessman and ex-Gurkha soldier Yem Gurung to finance and transport 450 large oxygen cylinders to Nepal from Shandong Province in Hong Kong to help the infected patients to breathe in the rural areas of the Himalayan country.

As the risks from the second wave of COVID-19 surged around the country, and the lack of proper management was accelerating the risk of a third wave, the 450 units of oxygen cylinders had managed to travel across three countries, pass through each customs, crossed landslides, drove through heavy rainfalls, changed multiple trucks and finally arrive at its destination on June 20.
