Kathmandu, Nov. 13 -- Thirty-one Nepali scientists have been featured in the global ranking of the world's best scientists, prepared annually by Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier.According to Secretary of the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) Rabindra Dhakal, the ranking highlights scientists with the highest level of global influence based on research citations and publications.

"Stanford University compiles this list every year, taking into account the number of citations and published works. The inclusion of Nepali scientists in the 2025 list reflects their growing international impact in research, innovation, and sustainability," Dhakal said.
