Nepal, Sept. 22 -- Thirty-one passengers were injured on Monday afternoon when three vehicles collided near Bastipur in Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-19, along the East-West Highway.

According to Makwanpur District Police, a passenger bus (Na 6 Kha 2119) traveling from Chitwan to Birgunj lost control after a tire burst and rammed into a cargo truck (Na 6 Kha 8180) heading toward Chitwan from Hetauda. The truck then collided with an empty fuel tanker (Na 7 Kha 1774) coming from Kathmandu toward Bara, resulting in multiple injuries.
