Nepal, April 1 -- Police have arrested 24 more individuals in connection with the incident at Tinkune, Kathmandu.

According to Kathmandu District Police Spokesperson and Superintendent of Police (SP) Apil Raj Bohara, the arrests were made in relation to violent protests, disorderly conduct, and vandalism during the rally organized on March 28.

SP Bohara stated, "An additional 24 people have been arrested in connection with the incident. Previously, 41 individuals were arrested, and their detention was extended for further investigation."

The arrests were made from various locations in Kathmandu, as confirmed by the District Police Office.
