Nepal, April 16 -- At least 20 central members of the Nepal Women's Association (NWA), the sister wing of the Nepali Congress, have resigned collectively.
They submitted their resignations on Wednesday, expressing dissatisfaction over the arbitrary actions of the president, Usha Mishra Raut. The members stated that their demands had not been addressed.

They accused Raut of causing disarray within the organization and had previously submitted a four-point demand to party president Sher Bahadur Deuba on April 3. The letter called for the end of the arbitrary actions of the president of NWA and requested the creation of an environment to hold a legal convention.
